The location is perfect, just across the road from Eurostar. Staff is friendly and helpful. The concept of the hotel is interesting and fun. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast is excellent, with fresh options and a unique communal dining experience. The modern bathroom and comfortable beds were a highlight. The hotel has character and a cool, quirky style.
Can't fault the property.

The manager was fantastically helpful and friendly and called the guests with their first names. The interior was extremely cool and staying there is a real experience. I really recommend this one!
The rooms are really small. The rooms outside to the street are really noisy with police cars driving by every 5 minutes. Please pick a room to the other side if you can not sleep in noise, or don't want to wear earplugs. The area around is not that nice.

The hotel had a great location, very close to a train station, which made it convenient for exploring the city. The beds were very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep.- The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home during our stay.
The overall appearance of the hotel was a bit shabby, with outdated furniture and decor that could use some updating. The breakfast options were limited and not quite up to par with the price of the hotel.

Staff were excellent. Good wine list. Central location. Nice decor. Relaxed atmosphere.
Small rooms. No tea/coffee facilities. No radio 4. Cost about 15% more than I thought it should, but that's about the supplement I'd have expected for the location.

I like the atmosphere and conditions in the hotel. It is very nice family atmosphere there. Location is perfect with convenient means of transport. Interior design is really cool. Breakfast was so good... And fresh juice with ginger... Thanks to Leo and Antonio for their warmth and hospitality.

The quirky charm of Mike's Guesthouse truly made my stay memorable. From the copper slipper bath to the central location, everything exceeded my expectations. The attention to detail in the luxurious touches added that extra decadence to my experience. Despite the lack of a TV and wardrobe, the unique ambiance of the room made it feel like a glamping adventure. The peacefulness of the surroundings allowed for a quiet and relaxing stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and indulgent experience.

The idea. The bed and the luxury linen. The size and look of the bathroom and the abundance of towels and delightful toiletries. The huge copper bath was a delight. I have always wanted one and it is deep and long. Good water pressure. The breakfast was generous among other things; fresh fruit, juice, good strong coffee and an abundance of breads, toast and croissants. The setting of the table and the addition of morning papers was welcoming The design and the colour scheme in the executive suite where exactly my style however....
The reality..... The very narrow stairs. The wi fi did not work despite hours wasted and a router in our room. The speed was way too slow to ever get any access at all even when we connected directly to it. We could not get access in the breakfast room either. There is no tv or phone in the room as advertised. The room was very small despite being an executive suite and there is no where other than a hook on the wall to hang clothing. This is London so It was noisy, we had to keep the window open as it was warm and stuffy in the top floor room. There is a dyson fan however which helped a little. The shower cubicle is Very nice to look at but very small. You cannot turn around in it or get away from the excellent water pressure to wash your hair. It is Very expensive for what you get which is a b and b with some tasteful features that has been renovated by someone with style.

We started out in room 8, which was lovely. The room was interesting and the bed comfortable. The bathroom large and comfortable, the towels amazing! . Both Antonio and Leo - the managers who worked during our stay were wonderful, warm, and the nicest guys. We switched to room 5- once again- large bathroom, interesting room. Comfortable bed. The breakfasts were fine- not super, but fine.
The towels in room 5 were not nearly as nice as the towels in room 8. Room 5 is really small- but the space is used wisely.

We stayed in a hotel right opposite a major train station, making it super convenient for getting around the city. the room was nicely decorated with interesting artwork, and the beds were comfortable. the bathroom was beautiful and well-maintained. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was enjoyable. it was a great location and a pleasant stay.
Some of the rooms lacked privacy and storage space.

Courteous service. Both men at the reception desk go out of their way to make every thing agreable for us.Surprisingly comfortable even at the first glance, every thing seem old. Excellent breakfast with quite a variety of bread and home-made jam and honey. Excellent location.
We stay at the fourth floor ( nice room) but there is no escalator, and very narrow stairs. Bringing up and down a 40 lbs-suitcase require stregth !!!

The manager and staff were charming, helpful and obliging. They made every effort to please. The continental breakfasts were first class-fine products beautifully presented. The bed was very comfortable and the rooms clean. The bathroom had plenty of good towelling. However, the stairs were hard work., The bathroom too small and with no telephone in the room it was difficult were one to seek assistance E.g a cup of tea, there being no teamaking facilities. Ventilation was also a problem in the top floor room I was put in. The price was too much and compares unfavourably with other London hotels with better facilities. I regret having to say all this because managment and staff were exceptionally nice and kind. R Williams

I had a fantastic stay at this place, with its perfect location right across from the Eurostar station. The concept of this hotel is unique and fun, adding to the overall experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and a good size for a hotel in this city. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making me feel very welcome throughout my stay. I particularly loved the beautiful modern bathroom and the comfortable beds, which resulted in a great night's sleep. The amenities provided, such as the electric kettle and carpeted floor, added to the luxury of the room. The dining options nearby were excellent, and the hotel staff were always ready to cater to any requests. I was highly impressed with the location, service, and room amenities provided at this venue.
Although I didn't have any negative experiences during my stay, I would highly recommend this hotel to families as well.
